Will This Be On The Test?
Every teacher reconizes the question. Concerned about their grades -- and perhaps eager to minimize their study time -- the students raise their hands and ask, "Will this material be on the test?"
That's an appropriate question for members of The 3x5 Club to ask.
We do have tests. But let's take a moment to understand what they are and what they are not.
The 3x5 Club is not like a class in school where you'll get a grade at the end of the term. But we do offer tests, which are designed to help you. You are not required to take the tests, but we encourage you to take them. There are four of them (Old Testament History, The Writings and Prophets, The Gospels, and The Early Church). Each test wll be available for you to take at the beginning of the appropriate section of our reading, and then again at the end of that section. The goal is not so much to measure how much you know, but rather how much you learned.
Our purpose in The 3x5 Club is to learn the Bible.
